Our Leader is a Lapdog

28 Sep 2004

Well, that’s all I really want to say on this matter. Obviously I could go into detail about some of John Howard’s lies and cover ups from his previous three terms in office, or I could discuss his “obedient puppy” policy of following George Dubbya off the edge of a cliff; but I don’t need to.

I can only pray in our upcoming election the monkey is out, and a leader is in.

Remember, a good book to read is ‘Jennifer Government’ written by a rather popular Australian underground writer… and in the future, Australia is a province of the United States. I think he feels the same was as you do:)

Every leader of a country seems to be a Bush lapdog.

Last year it was Tony Blair following at Bush’s heels. That doesn’t happen so much anymore, so hopefully yours will follow soon. Although I don’t follow Australian politics too much so I dunno ;)

Chris: Our Prime Minister was the first leader of any country to offer military support to the US after 9/11. At the time I agreed with the move, but now Australia is firmly stuck in “The Bush Family War”. Not to mention the fact that Bush directly interfered wih our democracy by saying that if the current leader lost power the US would be unlikely to continue sharing military secrets! Maybe he thinks of Australia as Little Florida? ;-)

Thanks for reminding me of that book, Brady. I was interested the first time I saw mention of it…

    I thought Britain was the 51st state… oh well…

Anyhow, you may want to read this.

  7. Andrew:

  8. Geoffrey Sneddon:

    Doh!

  9. Seth Thomas Rasmussen:

    bodgy?

  10. Andrew:

Yep Seth, bodgy; bad and dodgy. Check the language meta tag, at least I’m providing warning that these pages are in Australian english :-P

  11. Geoffrey Sneddon:

Problem is, I don’t know what Australian English is… From what I’ve seen it’s closer to British English than to American English…

  12. Seth Thomas Rasmussen:

Mmm… indeed, Andrew, but what’s this???

Planting secret coordinates for Communist missle attacks again are we? The Justice League will hear of this!~!13

  13. Andrew:

    ROFL :-P !
Indeed Seth, I’m planning on bombing myself…

  14. Geoffrey Sneddon:

In the original WP index.php I’m sure it says they have some useful use… no idea what though ;)

Well although I didn’t agree with Latham wanting to pull troops out of Iraq I wanted him to win, alas Mr. Sheen is PM once again and interest rates will rise bringing an end to the liberal’ reign in office. I can’t believe how bad the results for labour were.

  16. Matthew:

I thought John Howard had a “President for life” deal going with you guys ;)

  17. Adam Bramwell:

Howard Prime Minister for life? Yep it’d seem we need a crowbar to get him out of office.
